the location was perfect, also the price was very good. the apartment was very spacious. just make sure you have the managers cell phone number. the reception office closes at noon. but if you need any assistance the manager will help you at any time.

The location

The apartments need updating. I stayed at the MORKOI, which needs some updating. Bathroom and kitchen. The upholstery was thorned the room was not clean upon arrival, no kitchen towels, no soap in the bathroom. no towels. We had freinds stay at the flamingo which was ok.

The location.

Gleny that administrates the apartments is really nice and helpful. During a storm we had water coming in from the ceiling and had to stop sleeping !!! Many other things have to be fixed (lamps, door in the shower, etc.). Next time I'll find something better. Kind regards.

Apartment had 4 burner stove, full size refrigerator and coffee maker. Cable tv. Bathrooms had relatively modern fixtures. Large room safe. Air conditioner (bedroom only) worked well. Mattress was relatively comfortable. Very clean apartment. Good location near excellent reef. A number of restaurants and bars, pharmacy, small grocery, liquor, cycle rental very close to hotel. Kralendijk city about 1 mile. Across the street from Harbor Village resort amd the Eden Beach hotel. (The latter is much friendlier toward non-residents.) Taxi from Flamingo Airport $15. Glenny, who manages the apartment rentals, works very hard to be helpful, though she is only on site for a few hours a day. Ensure you have her cell phone before you arrive on property.

No hot water! Not that it wasn't working - it is not provided! It would have been nice to have been able to wash off the highly salty water with a hot shower. Spotty Wi-Fi. I was only able to access if I sat outside the reception hut (bring a beach chair), which is usually closed. Once accessed, it was fine. The apartments are locked from the outside with a padlock on the sliding door. That means, once inside, the apartment cannot be secured. While Bonaire is a very safe island (statistically), thought this might be of interest to some travelers. Apartment lighting was poor. Small ceiling fluorescent plus two small table lamps in bedroom. Bonaire is a fairly expensive place to stay. Portobello is a good value for Bonaire but it is a 2 star property in a good location, although not sea-side.

It was such a bargain compared to other places in Bonaire. It was very clean and comfortable. The owner was easy to deal with and worked with me on some specific needs.

It was not very convenient to shopping.
